I know there are treads about it, but I just whant specific facts, my goal is to turbo my sohc, and beat my brother in his Z32 (N/A), I dont what to go with big, new, and expensive stuffs, I got some money saved and the only little with no importance thing is that I know noting about turbos, I only know two sizes, Big Ass turbo, and little ass turbo, so could anybody tell me a model and pieces that I need just to make my goal real? I dont plan on rebulding my sohc, even when it sounds like a Diesel engine, and around 6psi will be good.... I rearched, but all I found what "T3/T4 GARRETS = $$$$$" witch doesnt help....

I love stupid threads, think about it, you gonna spend money just so you can beat your brother, than what, you gonna be like cool i beat him, and start on another project, anywho how bout first of all not tounching it till you do know bout turbros, and second of all, here comes the non useless part of the post. if your looking for a cheap turbo get a t25 or t28, there all over the place.

your brother has a naturally aspirated 300. race him when he has a full tank of gas and when you get an sr with a boost controller.

Try a 75 wet pill with a ten pound nitrous bottle. If you wanna be flashy, get a purge mounted on your windshield.

flashy?? excuse me my RICER term filter was turned off.
a purge is a important component in a nitroused motor. it purges the weak nitrous and mostly air outta the line that injects it into the TB/intake tube etc. purging right before using the system creates a much harder n2o hit. also mounting it on the windshield is about as bad as getting a fake bov. mount it outta sight so no one can see it, better yet mount it pointed at an engine component but indirectly, in ex. a wide spray of the IC. since purging "wastes" expensive nitrous, why not put it to some use.

you should be able to beat him stock for stock, he weights more espesially if he is a 2+2, if you cant beat him either, you cant drive, or your engine needs help. I have owned both cars at the same time and they are basically the same. if any thing you would need i,h,e, Ud pulley.

there's more to turbocharging a car then just slapping a turbo on it. :rolleyes: if u want to beat ur bro, get really tiny wheels, strip all the body panels off your car and gut the interior.

My NA z32 ran aound a low 15 stock with 115k on it. Bolt on's got it to mid/hioh 14's.....on the freeway it was fun....it would get to 130 in respectable time, and eventually(a lunch break later)150+ mph. The z32's are heavy, but are decentely quick.
I got a 240 because it was easier and cheaperto work on, and cheaper to get to ~240whp

thats what I mean with my post,its kind of sad but he beats me all the time and its not because I dont know how to drive. nitro..mmm...nopm, and what if I only whant the turbo for one thing? but anyway... I just whanted a sugestion... hateerrrssss

I'd use a crowbar. Good leverage, size, weight, and it has a pointy end for thrusting.

Yea go to junk yard look for a Turbo 2g DSM and take the turbo off be cheap. Or slash his tires like I read up top LOL

I'd use a crowbar. Good leverage, size, weight, and it has a pointy end for thrusting.

Or just ram his car before he takes off and start doing donuts around him while he tries to regain control. Wait you need LSD too so just turbo ur open diff. It will make it lock harder and therefore faster lock. HEHE maybe an intercooler on the LSD too. You know that will keep it cool and you know that LSD fluid gets really hot sometimes. Just make sure you not doing it on the street, take him to an open area or parking lot with no direct open view from where the cops could be coming from. Ok I am tired of the sarcasm. someone plz finish it off for me.

strip ur car completely. intake exhaust pulleys. 2 intake cams and set ur timing and a tune up. and lsd would help alot

Get the Megan Racing Intake and the OBX exhaust pulley. The other ones are crap.

1g = 14b
2g = t25
3g = v6
Thats what you REALLY need to do. Go find a 3g eclipse in a junk yard and get the engine out of it.
Its a straight-on bolt-on project. SHould take about 20minutes. That will be 2 more cylinders! You will be the WINNAR!!!!1!11!!!!1!!
