Im getting a custom turbo kit on my Ka24de and was wondering how do you KAT guys hook up those lines? Do you have to tap it into your oil pan or something? Need help on this thanks.

You can just run the return line out the turbo and under the car, but if you want it to go back into the motor you'll have to tap the pan. Feed line comes from the oil filter mount, there's another port or you can use a sandwich adapter or a T fitting.

if you use a t fitting on the oil pressure sender, that would be your feed... but like R240NA said for your return youll have to drill and weld the pan, which is a bitch because the pan is aluminun and hard to weld.. it can be done though..

is there any other places you can run the return to? or it always has to be the oil pan...

well for the return oil can only go down.. not up.. gravity my friends.. im sure you could put it somewhere else, but its the most logical place to put it seeing how your turbo, whether or not its going to be top or bottom mount, is still going to be above the pan..if you dont want to drill into the pan get one of those nifty greddy pretapped pans.

if you had a pump on the return line, you could feed it into the valve cover prolly i'd imagine

Maybe im not reading this correctly but you sure wouldnt want to run your oil dump line out and under the car. Anyways. Best way is to use a t-fitting off the oil pressure sender. You can also use a sandwich adapter. Anyways. About the return, the oil pan lower is made out of steel and you can weld a bung on there, however it needs to be as high as possible. That way it is not below the surface level of the standing oil in the pan.

Remember to use a oil pressure reduced from turbonetics on the turbo feed line. It will work without it, but only for a little while. You will blow out your turbo oil seals without one.
