So I just replaced my engine harness with an engine harness from wiring specialties (ka24de). The car cranks but won't turn over. The car was running before I changed the harness, my 240 is a 1998 kouki with an engine out of a 1996 zenki, any help is appreciated!

Did you connect the dash plug?

What dash plug ??? I'm sure I connected everything and if something is disconnected it's probably because the connector is different.

Remove your glove box. 2 8mm interior screws on the bottom and there’s a brown plug on the right make sure that’s plugged in or else nothing will work.
If it is plugged in, make sure your starter and alternator are hooked up. There should be a black w/ yellow stripe wire going to the starter as a start signal. Make sure that’s hooked up. It’s really common that those come disconnected.

That brown connector ? It wasn't connected before, could it be that the harness has a different relay?

That brown plug needs to be plugged in. That has tach signal, start signal, speed signal, etc.

Does your ecu turn on when you turn the key?

I'm guessing no because the check engine light went away

Don’t use the check engine light. Check the LED on the actual ecu itself.

My ecu doesn't have an led light or it doesn't work
