Ive read that installing front, rear, and possibly under tie / strut braces can help reduce the squeaking and rattling of the interior (panels?) of our cars as they get older
mine has about 200 000 kms on it now and the interior sounds like its going to break apart when i drive on rough surfaces, which is everywhere in the town i live in.
how accurate is it that these braces help eleminate the noises?

I have front and rear strut bars. No reduce in noise. Maybe replace the clips in the trim would help?

Any autopart store should have them.

nope, they only increase chassis rigidity which will make things rattle more.. the more panels you have, the more rattles you will have. strip down the car and make sure things are bolted down as best as possible. problem is, a lot of the metal undepanels like the rear speaker supports are held on with a few screws, and those screws easily strip.. loose panels = vibrations up the ASS.
