do we have power door locks

i have a 1990 s13.. non-se.. so i guess it's a base model. but it's got power everything.. ok.. when i lock one door the other door locks too, does that mean that it is power door locks?.. this is concening installing an alarm with keyless entry i'm buying a black widow, but i need to know b4 they install it so i can get a general price?.. they'll prbaably know when they see it.. if it's not power door locks how else would it be able to lock the other door?..

I believe it would be considered power door locks. There are actuators that would unlock or lock the other door when you manually lock or unlock your door.

i had the same question when getting my Clifford installed in my 93 SE.  same setup as u (drivers lock controls passenger lock).  they told me it did indeed have power door locks after taking a look at it, and its been working just fine for me for the past 3 years.  only thing is that my keyless entry doesn't work below 40 degrees but thats unrelated to your question

I just got a crimestopper alarm installed a couple weeks ago and i had the same question, and yes we do have power locks, and my keyless entry works fine

Really? Because unlooking the passanger door doesn't unlock the drivers side on my car. So if there is a drivers side actuator, its never actually used.

But you got keyless entry working on both doors? Where is the power door actuator? I wanted to hook up a crimestoppers keyless alarm to my car.

thats all well and good but sometimes when i unlock the drivers side , the passenger side doesn't unlock , and sometimes it does , what up with that?<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>?

Have you noticed it's usually in cold weather? Mine does the same thing. Usually if you just lock it and unlock it again it works.
