Alright hockey fans, check in. We know your out there, just quietly minding your own business, but screw that. Football is already boring this year, lets talk hockey. Teams to look out for this year? Early picks for the cup? Players you'd like to see more of, less of?

...Go Rangers. :)

LA Kings all the way

I think Edmonton is the team to watch this year...I think Winnipeg will make some noise too if they get good goaltending

Canadians throwing their hat in the ring? maybe. I'm interested in seeing what Nashville is going to do this year. I never would of thought they would of gotten that far in the playoffs last season.

If Quick can keep it together on a consistent basis, I could see the kings making a good run at in.

The Habs picking up Drouin was huge....surprised TB let him go. I think Columbus will be really good too....solid last year, plus they got the bread man

Colorado Avalanche fan here.

Cup? I'm not holding my breath. Just hoping for a consistent season. We have a tendency to either lose momentum through the season and not recover from a slump, or to come on strong too late in the season.

Just happy it's hockey time again.

Like most sports, I generally only peak interest for Chicago playoffs, but hot damn did the Blackhawks look good in the opener.

I was bummed about the rangers loss last night, but damn did their speed pick up. We're all starting to talk about how much longer Lundqvist has left, will he be the Brodeur and basically be told when he's not playing anymore?

As much as I hate to admit it, Columbus does look really good for this season, lots of power on that team right now. Still think it's funny they boo Nash every time he plays there.
