Put it in the factory ecu spot maybe secure it to the frame with. Zip ties not really necessary but it helps put kick panel back on call it a day

i wish it was that simple but the gm ecu is twice the size of my ka ecu

Never dealt with LS but you could maybe cut a hole in the glove box and feed the ECU connector through, then keep the ECU in the glove box

I'll have to send you a picture of how I did mine I have test fitted a 02 ls1 ecu and now that I've gone lq9. ecu still fits in the same spot minus the kick panel ls and lq ecu same size and shape different plug colors

Not sure how much bigger other LS ECUs are but I have my LS3 ECU in the factory kick panel location.

The LS3 ecu is not much bigger than an external hard drive. The early ecu's are massive for no reason

The size difference between KA/SR and the LS style is pretty significant.
For now, I just have mine laying up against the firewall with the floor mat holding it in place. Would be nice to find and way to solidly mount it, but it's almost more trouble than it's worth since it won't fit behind the kick panel like the original Nissna ECM.

same here, my LS pcm wont fit in the oem location. I want a new location but its not a priority anytime soon.

OK, normally I would be able to find this info on my own, but Either I am really tired or google is not my friend today. And apologies for thread jacking if this take you all off topic too much. Is it possible to use the OEM engine/transmission wiring harness from my donor 2010+ Camaro to get it up and running in an S13? If some one has a link to a write up that would be great as well. Thank you ahead of time
Also as a suggestion for the ECU, mount it where the factory ABS unit would be unless you have ABS. You could fab a heat shield and cut a hole in it for the harness to pass through. Be sure to use a grommet in that hole so your not damaging the wires and protect the ECU as well.

Literally 4 wires that need to be modified to make it work, AFTER you disable VATS.

I took out my passenger airbag and mounted the ecu in that location
