Trying to lower the rear coilovers on my s14. The bottom bracket that bolts onto the knuckle are supposed to be able to thread up and down right? Not sure if mine are just seized or maybe tein super drifts don't adjust that way. Tried penetrating fluid and the force of a thousand suns and the bitch wont move. Just want to make sure I'm not trying for nothing...

If not, has anyone tried drooping springs? As in messing with the preload to lower the car more? LMK your thoughts. Thanks.

Yes if you have undone the locking ring the lower bracket should turn.

Preload wise... You do not want to do that. As you reduce the spring preload it will ride closer to the bump stops etc so when you do hit a bump it will be a harsh/hard impact which will only result in a shitty ride & lowering the life expectancy of the coilover.

Got the bracket to finally give loose, took some brute force.

Just wanted to hear what people thought about drooping springs, heard about it here and there that's all... thanks
