View Full Version : Songs?
Hey can all of you lovely Zilvians give me a good song from the 70's or Jackson 5's era ? Please? Haha I'm kinda sick of rap and stuff and I also think a few of you other zilvia users would like some new music to listen too :)

My Fav.\/
Led Zeppelin-stairway to heaven, dyer maker, black dog, no quarter, tangerine, ramble on, the battle evermore, good times bad times, all of my love, misty mountain hop, immigrant song, dazed and confused.

2 words: led zeppelin
they're so much more than just Stairway to Heaven (don't get me wrong, it's a good song, but not nearly their best). they have so many different styles that you're bound to find something you like (yes, even you).

got dayum, I feel the same about this "new" hip hop, LAME! For the last year I've been listening to nothing but 70s funk music from my local radio station, and I love it! I've never listened to it before, grew up listening to early hip hop, but nowadays i'm just not feeling it. I don't even go to clubs no more cuz of this BS. Then I listen to the old stuff, and it's what I've been hearing now! All this new stuff evolved from way back when music was music! Anyway, you can't single out a song from the artists mentioned above, pretty much all their songs are good.
I'm not really down with the rock stuff, but I don't hate. And for some reason I like listening to the 80s "New Wave" haha, I don't recommend it to first timers, they're not that great, but those songs just send me back.

I just thought of a song, don't remember the name or artist, but here are the lyrics:
"I want candy, bubblegum and taffy, skip to the sweet shop with my
sweetheart Sandy, got my penny saved, so I'm her sugar Daddy. I'm her
Hume Cronyn, she's my Jessica Tandy, I want candy. Mess up the mix,
mix up the mess, come on down, yo, heres the address, it's 6-1-2 Wharf
Avenue, 6-1-2 WHarf Avenue Gonna get your ass beat, nasty, do it to
your daddy, embarrass your whole family, just cuz ya came between a
kid and his candy, i want candy, any kind will do, don't care if its
nutritious or FDA Approved, its gonna make me spaz like 5 cats on
booze, a hyperactive juice that only I can produce, and build a giant
drill, and bore it straight into he**, releasing ancient demons from
their sleep-forever spell so they can walk up on the Earth, and get
resituated, and hawk the diet pills MC Pee Pants have created!"

Thank you for ruining the sarcasm of my post... The song YOU speak of is the theme song and doesn't have a title, per se... The song I posted was "I want candy" by MC Pee Pants, found on the Aqua Teen Hunger Force, volume 2 DVD.
