So I finished my car finally but for safety inspections the windscreen washer has to work. The previous owner relocated it to the trunk with one cable from the motor directly to the battery (also in the trunk). The other cable from the motor goes somewhere in the enginebay on the right fender and connect to a harness. Its really hard to see where it connects to.

The washer isnt working. My wipers are also not activating when trying to wash. The wipers work when I just want to wipe tho. I can't hear the motor either (washer motor)

What to do? Where to check? The 20A fuse was still good.

Just buy some electrical tape, rip the old stuff apart, trace all the wires through till you find the problem, then re-tape it. its an uber pain in the ass but probably the only way to get it done right. especially seeing as the previous owner did some wiring its probably some twisted and then taped wire that has come apart.

i always find its usually not as bad as it seems, you'll probably find the problem right away

Ye its the pink wire. I think its just a bad cable, but im not planning on replacing it. Its like 6 of 7 metres of cable... Also, it sprays now BUT my wipers are not activating. What can it be?

How did I make the washer motor work? My car is half apart so I could check the connector on the switch for the wipers. I followed the cable from the washer motor and it connected to a pink wire. Fromt here I knew that it would connect to the switch on my steering wheel so I checked it over there. Stripped a bit from the cable and wired it from the pink cable on the switch to the cable on my motor. It started to spray and worked good.
