View Full Version : KA24de gas pedal nut

So while driving, i noticed that my gas pedal started losing tension, and slowly coming up. When i went to look, the cable was completely out of the little groove at the top of the pedal assembly. Anyone got pics of how it should look, as well as the nut that belongs/holds everything in place? I have a fair amount of travel before there's any throttle response.

It's actually not a nut. There is a nut on the other end where the cable mounts to the intake manifold.

If I'm not mistaken that plastic piece is made on the cable itself.

Now if you have slack in your cable you need to adjust it at the engine side.
