Ok, I am a learning do-it-yourselfer.
How hard is it to install a CD player. I have an S13 fastback if it matters. I am really just concerned about trying to get the old one out. Do I have to rip the center console out?
Thanks,
Jeff

Well, if you get your Cd player from Crutchfield they give you EVERYTHING. That includes wiring harnesses, brackets, and instructions specificaly for your car. If you don't mind paying a little pit more and saving on the install then go with them. Thier great!!

It's pretty easy, i did mine myself. All you have to do is undo the two screws on either side of the console that dont look like they hold that piece in. Then you just lift it up (still held on by plastic clips but it'll pop up.) then unscrew the old one. I kinda ripped the old one part getting it out but i didn't plan on using it again anyways. If you have any questions, just ask me before you brake something. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

I had a tougher time doin the whizbang in the backseat.
s13: There are only four screws you need to remove, these are under the black plastic surround that goes from your climate control around your shifter. Use a nylon screwdriver to carefully undo the snaps under this piece of plastic, start at the bottom, then just pull out. Four screws around the tape deck, pull it out, wire up your harness, plug it in, and boom zig.
