Ok, so whats the deal with these? $1.89 or $5.99+++ From what i understand the only main difference is that Platinum tends to last longer, about 2x's longer. Normal service is about 30k, but platinums 60k miles. BUT! When i talk to people into performance of their car's, they swear by copper. I've talked to people from supra owners to whatever and copper is the way to go. One idea is that the platinums tend to foul out fairly quicker than copper. Another is that "you never know how your car is really running, so i just put copper for price. if one day it ran too rich and fuxor'd up my plugs, I don't mind paying $8 for a new set."

So what is the truth? What is your take?

I stick with copper. BKR6E's to be exact. Sure, I change them every 10k miles, but how hard are they to change?

copper or iridium. Platinum is a poor conductor but lasts. copper doesnt last as long but conducts better. iridium conducts the best and lasts the longest and is the best of all worlds but is the most expensive.
