I thought I would share a few pics and vids of my latest rallycross. This is my third time rallycrossing, and as always, I had a blast. This time was a little different, I had just installed a VLSD, and was still getting used to how the car would slide so there is quite a bit more under/oversteer than usual. This was also my first time at this location, and for some reason, I couldn't quite get used to this courses flow.
Enough worthless talking, on to pics:

^this was my car on my first run... looking fairly clean, having some fun in the dirt

^this is my co-driver's second run, car starting to get a bit dirty :)

^here it is by the end, dirt EVERYWHERE, I had to vacuum 1.5" of dust out of my spare tire well due to a run with 3 spins... but it was soooooo worth it.
Now here are some vids of my car taken by some very good photographers/videographers that compete in local rallyXs/autoXs

^this is a compilation of my runs: 1st run, a bit too much understeer. 2nd run waaaaaayy too much oversteer. I spun 3 times that run, and right when the camera cuts away, I was lost in a dust cloud for what seemed like an eternity. 3rd run, I was getting the hang of the VLSD's grip, cleaner line and faster time. Last couple runs the car didn’t feel right up front and was making one helluva racket. I checked it out in grid and found both front shocks had exploded :bite: spraying shock "juice" all over the inner fender lining and suspension. whoops :D

^these are my codriver's runs. He tends to drive a smoother line than I do and usually gets faster times, but he was having troubles towards the end with the suspension(it felt like we were waterskiing out there). The last run I retired my car after discovering that my shocks had a violent disagreement with rallycross, and he entered his AE86..... he beat all of the 240's times with his AE86 on Azenis :squint:
All in all I had a great time, although I have discovered that I need a dedicated rallycross car :2f2f:
To all of those interested in Rallycross: DO IT! My shocks didn't blow solely from this rallycross, they have been on thier way out for a year and a half now, the rallyX was just the finishing blow, and other than that, I haven't had any problems. Also, this event had really bad dust problems, in all of the other events I have attended, the dust has been well under control.
