So I'm re painting a set of z32 brakes I picked up and I just now realized one is missing the piston boot thing https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170515/d994d3d588b020925b86cebc99da28f2.jpg what is this called and where can I buy a replacement one or do I not need one?

So purchase the $9.99 kit that includes the inner ring and the outer ring and spring clip.

But don't spend the time to spruce up your pistons and not take care of that one item. It could very well leak beyond that inner seal on heavy braking.

It's included in the caliper rebuild kit.

Just like this, but go to your local parts store to get it cheaper and sooner.
