To start off, i own a na 93 mr2. its a nice little car. not too fast but i like the way it handles. Now ive ridden in 3 differnt sr20'ed 240s, 1 s13 fastback and 2 s14's, and when they gun it (even on low boost 8-9psi) I feel like im in a time warp. Ive never felt anything like it, ive ridden in fast cars before, but the sr's just seem crazy fast. It doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me. ive driven a new sti and a friends tuned srt-4 with are pretty powerful and neither seem even close to the feeling on driving a 240 with a swap. why is this? the srt4 has comparable power and about the same weight. :squint:

Because the SR20DET is MAGIC, it's the kind of mystery that oozes from it's JDM rooting man, haven't you been reading magazines over the last 4 years? All the cool kids MUST have SRs
When i rode in my buddies SRT 4, i thought it was crap cuz i couldnt stop feeling how un JDM that plastic dash was, and its bubble shape didnt give a jdm feeling.

haha, i got a chance to drive a mr2, not a turbo actually, but just a regular one, 135 hp. it was tuned but you know, should still have less hp than my stock KA. It FELT soooo much faster and a little bullet out of a gun. I've always wanted a mr2 turbo. the grass is greener on the other side ;)
I don't mean to offend Dousan with my post.
I am just saying that an SR is far from being a quick engine in it's stock form..

Err Rb throw ur weight off too much. It's all about KA-T!!! If you got balls rebuild ur Ka.

yeah 5 years ago. b16 in a ef could walk on almost anything on the street now its just ridiculous what kind of money you have to put out to make a car considerably fast yet streetable, unless you want to give in and buy a neon

how much yen was it? im sure in japan you can get coilovers for less than you can here, and its about 2grand for a nice set here. For typical point of reference, 100 yen is about 1 usd.
and who determines what fast is? fast acceleration? 1/4 mile? theres too many options nowadays to say what "fast" is.
for me, fast is when you hit boost and you're thrown back into your seat :Ownedd:

in japan are there 2 different signs for money cause this one set goes for 551200 types of money, but then I see another set with the yen sign is like 3 grand in usd, even then, we dont pay 3 grand for coilovers, I am just curious as to what this other sign is, its like a P and then a backwards P butted up against it.
