I finally pulled the trigger on a set of Wilwoods complete front brake package(rotors, pads, calipers). During my assembling of the rotors to the hat, I noticed the special bolts have a small pin head sized hole in them that I believe a safety wire run through.

I called Wilwood and they stated that was indeed correct, but they do not include them in their kits and they do not sell them. Interesting...

My question is how many of guys on here are running the front wildwood superlights with this "safety wire" through those bolts. Or are you just using thread locker?

Any help would be appreciated.

I use safety wire in my kits. It takes an extra 10 mins to assembler per side and thread locker.

Get the correct safety wire pliers and the job is a breeze. Harbor Freight has them
