P0180: Fuel Temp Sensor A Circuit
This is the last code I need to fix. I've been searching around and found mixed answers. I didn't even know 240sx had a fuel temp sensor. I've read that it's part of the sending unit. I've read it was on the fuel rail. And I've read it's actually a part of the fuel pump. I need a straight answer because I've changed my fuel pump twice and I still have the same code. Nothing makes me believe there's a temp sensor on the sending unit. On the top cover thing or "upper plate" (what the FSM calls it) there's two connectors. One for the fuel pump and one for the fuel gauge unit. On the fuel gauge unit, there are two connectors. One to connect to the "upper plate" and one small 3-wire connector. The FSM just describes it as "connector" could this lead to the fuel temp sensor if there is even a fuel temp sensor on this car?
If anyone has experienced and fixed this code please spread some truthful knowledge.
