how putting magnecor really throws me off cuz they dont make spark plugs..they make the wires if u are talking about spark plug wires then magnecor kv-85(8.5mm) r great i also recommend the magnecor r-100(10mm) wires
now if u are taling about plugs herez the basics:
1. copper is the best conductor of electricity, better then platunium and iridium.
2. the reason platium for is better then copper is that it is a harder element, u'll notice that u can get a thinner tip on it, which makes it have a great space to make a bigger spark, the bosch platium +4 takes this idea and adds 4 pathways not just one so u get 4 sparks.
3. the iridium also uses this idea, iridum is not only harder then platium no a smaller electrod can be make it is also slightly more radioactive (all things r radioactive, dont freak out) they r also $$$$$
so in the end i recommend getting the bosch platium +4 cuz opf the proce and performance....i added all that shit so he can think for himself in the future...not just "yay its better cuz i said so" <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Be careful with the Boch plugs. They're known not to work well in some setups, but great in others. I remember reading about a few people having problems in a 240 with them, but for other people they worked great. I think the best thing to do, would be to try a couple different kind of plugs and see which works best for you.

for plugs, I'm going either NGK (factory) or Denso. I hear the platinum 4 gets too hot for some applications? ( like the e30 BMWs).
And for wires, do i need to get expensive stuff like vitek or magnecore? I was thinking just getting NGK, seems to be well made and relatively cheap.
Check out www.torquemaster.com I,m using them and consider them exellent. Paid 12.50 each and worth every penny

You don't need an expensive plug. Platinum doesn't actually spark as well as Copper. You don't need platinum. fPlatinum is used to extend life, not spark better. If your N/A the NGK's are the best for our cars. I use the NGK V-Power plug.
The bocsh +4 will work, but actual performance of the plug is not up to par. It's createde to last a long time, not be a performance plug. It even supress the flame from the spark to some degree because the prongs are in the way.
Go with NGK. Will spark as good or better than any of the expensive plugs out there and they're only $1.89
The platinums, and Iridium plugs out there are nice for a turbo setup but are NOT necessary for N/A.
Also remember if you're tuned you might want a colder plug.. I believe its one colder for ever 70 hp oveer stock? so ours stock is a 5. If you put down 200 whp you would need to go to a 6. so on and so forth.

for turbo applications i recomend magnecor r-100's 10mm wires <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/notify.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':notify:'>

do sr20's take different sparkplugs than our ka's i know it sounds dumb.. probably do, but i've been wanting to buy a good spark plug and wire set, but i'm not spending anymore money till i get my sr20. i'm almost there, also where can i get spark plug set for sr's.. i know theres not that big of aftermarket support for those beasts..

no the sr20det uses direct ignition = no spark plug wires, just ignition coils
sr20de uses spark plug wires tho <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

yes the Sr's take different plugs. And you can get high performance Coil's.
