SCC just repeated the name. The turbo was named after the SR20DE-T Sentra it was originally tested on, though. The GT2860RS was originally a backdoor turbo, and an engineer from Garrett "owned" that Sentra (read: convienently "lost" the paperwork). It wasn't in their product catalog for a while, but you could tell anyone at Garrett you wanted a Disco Potato turbo and they'd get you the right thing.
