TENSION RODS/REAR CAMBER ARMS/TRACTION CONTROL ARMS:
The following Powertrix products (tension rods, camber arms, toe connecting rods, and traction control arms) are made of heat tempered forged steel. There are many inferior copies on the market made of aluminum that are not as strong and are prone to bend and flex. These suspension components under go massive stress and entire weight transfer of the vehicle. A daily driven or street car is subjected to even more blunt or shock force due to street hazards and road conditions there fore we do not recommend the use of aluminum for these components. Our components have been on many vehicles for over 3 years and have been tested on several even heavier vehicles such as Nissan Z32s with a perfect track record. Also, our components have been Drag and Track tested at California Speedway (Fontana) and the road courses of Willow Springs under the most rigorous scenarios, with several different adjustments and are used and trusted by the other major Nissan specific companies for their personal and race prepped vehicles.

Hello,
The powder coating is much softer than the chrome finish. When the powder coating comes off, it exposes bare metal and it is at these points where the bare metal tends to rust. they can be sanded down as repainted but is a bit of a hassle as on most of the arms, the adjustment points (that are powder coated) almost immediately start to flake and chip once you put a wrench on them. This does not degrade the integrity of the arms but they look a bit messy once the powder coat starts to come off. Obviously, if rust is left for an extended period of time, if could eventually weaken the properties of the metal. Though we haven't actually had a total failure in a component due to rust, we had taken the proactive approach at offering a better product both in asthetics and quality.

i just received my toe and traction rods and power brace!!!
FAAAAAAAAAST shipping and Charles is an excellent person to deal with....
now onto the parts.....Amazing quality! the weld seams are very precise and the Chrome finish is sweeeet.....pricing on these are excellent also, compared to "JDM" brands that cost 3 times as much, i assure these compare equally.....Compared to my Kazama, Cusco, and Tein products currently on my car, Powertrix parts is right on par
i have yet to actually test them out yet, but will soon :)

We are working on getting the right size grease gun fittings to lube the zerk fittings. Some of the guys have said they found fittings that work at NAPA auto parts store as they have taken the arms in and sized up the closest fitting possible. We have used a slightly oversized fitting to pump grease into the fitting and is seems to work just fine. (it is just a little bit messy as there is some overage that is easily cleaned off.)

Also: Tension rod INSTALLATION TIP:
Notice how the slant of the ball joints are on the tension rods - (Downward and toward the engine) please be sure when installing the tension rods that you follow this configuration. The reason is that once the car is set back down on the ground, the suspension readjusts and twists the ball joint in the opposite direction. The driver's side is the side you have to watch as once it is tighten; it has a tendency to swivel down and towards the wheel. (This is incorrect and can cause unnecessary stress on the ball joint leading to premature failure as it has no more motion to swivel once the car is set back down on the ground.)

The S13 also comes in a dual arm configuration. They are $149.00 (Reg $169.00) Either single or dual arms work great. For S13 owners doing suspension mods, they prefer the single arm as it allows clearance for coilover kits and they are also lighter than the dual arm RUCAs for those who are wieght conscience.

Yes, we can ship to Canada. shipping is usually around $12.00-18.00 depending on shipping code. We carry all the various adjustable suspension arms, subframe spacers, bushings, front frame power brace and we are hoping to have our own line of coil over (adjustable strut and spring combination) kits availible next year. We also do the Z32 brake up grades as well. Here are links to our other specials:

here is my review on the products, as i got my shipemtn in last week. first off, communication was excellent. i sent payment on a sunday, and items (tension rod, traction, toe, ruca and power brace) were shipped out on monday and i got them on a wed.......and i live in hawaii.
when i got them i was suprised on the quality of the finish and workmanship. ive had expensive cusco and kazama parts, and these (to me) looked up to par. installation was easy and i am waiting to test these under extreme driving conditions, lol.
but overall nice product, fast shipment, excelent prices. i am very please with my purchase. thank yous!!

I would grease them every few thousand miles. You can also check by rotating the ball and if it feels sticky or makes any noise then grease it.
