Hey guys,
Just testing waters on this set to see if anyone in the community might be interested. Came across a few sets of these titanium, burnt lug nuts the specs are as follows:
2 piece design - allows to be open or closed ended.
19mm hex
Ti-Al-6V grade titanium
45mm tall without the cap
50mm tall with the cap
60 degree seat
For a set of 20, thinking of letting them go for $175 Shipped and PP'd.
PM if interested.
Thanks!

Love the looks. A little steep price for a product that isn't proven.

I'm also assuming it may be hard to put the cap on. The cap probably needs a Phillips, flat or allan fitting.

Thanks for the input. As for proving the product, I see how not having a recognized brand associated, there will be hesitation as to the integrity of the product.
If the concern comes from the material itself, simple charpy v-notch and density tests were conducted to ensure the material characteristics align with Ti-Al-6V grade. (I work with a metallurgist). I have no reason to doubt that this will perform as well as or better than steel lug nuts currently out in the market, but I suppose its another thing to get others to jump on the band wagon.
I'm also assuming it may be hard to put the cap on. The cap probably needs a Phillips, flat or allan fitting.
The cap currently has a knurled edge, so it is just screws in by hand inside the shaft of the lug nut. The threads are slightly tapered so the last 1/4 turn essentially locks the cap just tight enough you'll need pliers or something similar to loosen it.
Either way, I appreciate your comments.
Thanks!

Bump for some really cool Lug nuts at a reasonable price for being Ti
Also does the 19mm socket fit with the caps sill fastened to the lug?

Yes it does, but you'll need a really deep socket to get positive fitment, if that makes sense. With the standard deep well socket I used, it only went to about 6mm of the hex surface with the cap on.
Without the cap, it's no problem of course.
