89 240sx

Hey guys... had a deal 'drop in my lap' so to speak.. I think.  I havnt looked at it yet, but I found an 89 240sx (dont know if its hatch or trunk) for $2000 obo.  Says it has some upgrades too, namely: HKS intake + exhast, header, lowered suspension, and more.  High K's, but that doesnt worry me too much.  I have a lot of faith in Nissan engines/drive trains.  Just wondering what you guys think... if the body is decent, is this car worth $2000?

i dont know...but me personally would never buy a modded car:
1. i like to do mods myself...i mean thats the point not..have i know nothing about cars....please fix my up
2. 2k is a good price...but u can find lower <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

Well, its not like this car is HEAVILY moded, just basic bolt on stuf. &nbsp;The only thing that I would be concerned with is the lowered suspension. &nbsp;If it hasn't been done right (cut springs, etc) then there could be problems... and I do agree, I like to mod my car myself. &nbsp;I just figured it was a decent deal.. Idont want to build a hot rod (I already got plans for another car, just for the 'go fast' summer nights) I just want a good reliable daily driver. &nbsp;Assuming the car is in overall good shape, would $17 - 1800 be a good price? &nbsp;I figure I could talk him down from $2k.
