Hi Guys..

Looking for any advice from people who have done this or know what they are talking about.

Currently running a SR20DET fully forged rods & pistons. Believe it is a STD head, turbo & cams. Because it is a Rallycar we are limited to mods that can be done & have to retain the STD intercooler (Small side mount unit)

I have been looking at a SR20VET VLL NEO (Also STD) as a possible power upgrade. But from what I see they will require a Inlet Manifold to fit into the S14.

So question is.
Has anybody installed one of these engines into a S14 or S15 and what are the down sides. Ie
-will my SR20 Sequential bell housing fit or do they take a different bell housing pattern
- How much difference (Power torque) do they really make VS spending 6K more on my current engine

Thanks

You can't swap the whole engine. The VVL head is usually swapped to the RWD block. Not sure if the mods required to make it work are allowed in your class or not either.
