Wassup everyone I'm new to this whole mod thing but I just got my 1992 240SX Black auto coupe. Its tight. I wanted a hatchback but dude let me get it for $2300 and it has 120,000 miles on it so of course I had to take it. I need advice on mods I need to make cuz I know I want K&N FIPK and air filter (unless otherwise advised) but what about exhaust? It has a dual up there now so should I stick with an aftermarket dual or a single? Also the factory radio SUCKS so I am switching that out ASAP to a Kenwood CD and how do I get to my door speakers and rear speakers? Do I need to take the whole door panel off and pry the grill off in the back or what? Appreciate the help <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

it depends on how much u want to spend.
If ur money is good, then buy a injen intake and N1 dual exhaust.
Those two are on the money and everybody will recommend those.
They are very expensive though.
Make sure that before u start modding, that all the regular shit is done. I stress that. U know, tune it up, make sure the suspension is good, and that all the bushings and shit is good, check lil things, test the car to the limit, see if it can handle it, trust me, its worth fixing the car back to stock level beore buying mods and forgetting about the lil things.

I totally agree, but remember. It never hurts to replace broken/worn out parts with aftermarket parts either. Usually you'll end up paying close to the same amount, but getting better performance and longer life out of them.
Shocks and struts, exhaust system, bushings etc. are all things that should be replaced with aftermarket parts if you have the money.
