First off, we all know the game with drift/240/whatever the hoon you want to call it tax. I obviously do not think that I am going to get $100k for this car plus your firstborn child and wife/gf. Be polite to me and I'll be polite to you.
First picture added of car back before primer seen in rest of photos. Added to show what car looks like painted. I will be painting the car this week (touching up not full paintjob).
Pros
-clean title
-never wrecked
- crackless dash
-aftermarket headunit
-new fuel pump
-new fuel filter
-new spark plugs
-seats are not torn!
-shifts smooth! (auto trans is in good condition)
-comes with 2 extra tires
-tires on car have good amount of life left.
-aftermarket rims (even though they are ugly)
Cons
-sun roof has leak in back middle. (Drips onto middle console)
-needs brakes
-power steering whine (line was severed driving one day when my friend test drove it. Probably needs topped up, however I haven't looked)
-read below about idle issue*
Up for sell is my 1996 Nissan 240SX S14. The car was bought by me about two years ago and ran fine until it had some issues bogging down. I pulled this car back onto the market, because a friend was going to buy it for a LS swap, but has not come up with the money to do so. So here it is! The car is currently running, but has a check engine light throwing a code for the O2 sensor. So the idle is choppy. I have replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, and battery. Also I have upgraded the stock fuel pump to an ISIS 255 which has now changed names due to negative connotations with the group of the same name. The company changed their name from ISIS to ISR Performance. (people on here should know this but I pasted this description from another site) The interior seats have covers on the front seats, and I've never looked under them. (Since looked under them after posting this listing on another site, they are not torn. I was surprised too!) You will also need to know that the exhaust manifold has the front-most exhaust manifold bolt broken off, by the previous owner. There is also a spliced wires to the O2 sensor. 2 new tires come with the tires that are currently on the car as it sits. The previous owner had his cousin paint it at a community college. Where you see the primer is where clear coat was peeling and I had sanded it down and primered over to prep for paint. I have already repainted the roof of the car, but it has yet to be wet sanded. The existing paint from the previous owners paint job does have orange peel, clearcoat peel, and some drips. This car is a FANTASTIC swap candidate.
Sold as is. I will not be liable for any other issues you may run into with this car. If you have questions that need to be addressed, please send me a message. I do not want you to receive the car and then give me a negative review because you believe I did not truthfully disclose something to you. I am disclosing all that I know about the car, and will do what I can to answer any questions you have. Please do not buy this car if you are not willing to be responsible for the purchase. I would rather you ask me if something is wrong and I do my best to answer your question than you forget and try to bash me for your incompetence.
I'll entertain trades. Send me your offers through PM. Would like to get around $3500 to put towards my dry sump system for my GT500. As a Luthier, I do consider music gear for trading possibilities.
