Ok I was looking around on the net and saw a Skyline with a Twin Intake. I was wondering what the benefits to it are and if it we be good for a SR20 and if they even make it for the SR

? did the skyline have Two Turbos? cuz that would explain it.

Yeah...it prolly had an intake for Each turbo...better air flow
Heres a pic of an r33 Skyline GTR, with a twinturbo...Notice the 2 hks intakes?

it's probably just easier to do... rather than have a Y-pipe from one MAF to two turbos. It'd be useless for an SR IMO.
While we're on this, I saw an engine with 2 little baby intakes right above the valve cover. I didn't see where they were leading but they looked to be about 2 inches across and 3 inches long each. I believe it was on an RB series engine (one without the intake comming across the valve cover?) but it could have been an SR, I don't remember. Anybody know what that could have been?

Heh, well I figued that much. But what are they for? And why would they be positioned there? I've seen tiny ones on a different part of the intake incase the main filter gets wet but these were different.

Some people like to remove their PCV system and so they just stick little air filters over the nozzles on the valve cover to keep dirt out.

yup air breathers r just ot keep the dirt and rocks out..no other point since the air is comming out not in the valve cover....notice that originally...the little pipe is connected to our stock intake...it's originalyy to pull hot air off from inside the valve cover...
