well my water pump just went out on my last saturday and I was able to drive it around [had jugs of water in my car] and well today my car decided to overheat while i was on the freeway. I drive a couple of miles from the on ramp and my car starts to lose power so i down shift to a lower gear and my car completely shuts off on me. steering wheel locked up but i was able to make my way towards the side of the freeway. i open my hood and smoke is comming off the valve cover. after about 30 mins of waiting for it to cool down a bit I fill my radiator back up with water and watch it spray out steam like a hot spring. after I filled the radiator up with water i tried starting the car.. nothing. you could hear it struggling hard to start but it just doesn't crank over. what do you guys think is the problem other than replacing the water pump cause thats in the process of getting fixed right now. should i expect to spend loads of money to repair any engine damage. let me know please.

WIth the waterpump broken, no coolant is running through your motor, so the water that is in the motor will get so hot it will turn into steam, and the motor will become so hot that

you could fry the head
etc..

anything that fucks up from intense heat would be to blame... i dont know off hand but get pics up

Yep, bad overheating = dead HG and a warped head. That's the most likely scenario.

Used KA24Es are a dime a dozen, luckily...
