Hey guys I'm trying to wire an aftermarket gauge and I'm thinking of using fuse tap piggy back holders to wire my gauge the thing is the wiring for the harness of the gauge is 24awg or 24 gauge wire and it's really tiny , I just wanna know how you guys that used the fuse tap method how u wired it up to a 16 or 18 gauge connection

wire it properly you wont have problems.. taps/butt connectors are for butt heads

He's talking about one of these. I used one too for my boost control solenoid and gauges. It's a good solution.

Don't worry about the difference in wire gauges, just crimp or twist and solder them together. The load (in this case the gauges) determines the amount of current passing through the wire. So even though you'd be connecting to a larger gauge wire, there won't be any "additional" current to worry about.
