My teams has a ton of gear noise when coasting in 4th, reverse has started to grind when I try and go into it, and the TOB makes a lot of noise when the clutch isn't pressed in. I was thinking about completely swapping it for a different teams but can't seem to find any for sale anywhere. Can I get one directly from Nissan or are there any companies that will sell just the trans?

The noise coasting in 4th I have heard almost every sr trans make. It seems pretty common.
The reverse in many sr trans is not synchronized. Some are, but even those tend to grind, as the 5th gear fork tends to break in the synchronized reverse transmissions as a common flaw. You can usually tell because 5th will grind a bit also (5th/reverse same fork). So the reverse grinding is very common.
Now as to the noise and TOB, that isn't normal. You may have a TOB installed without any proper lubricant (molybdenum sulfide grease). The throw-out bearing "sleeve" should be fully cleaned with a pick, spotless, and a new TOB should be installed to it, and slathered in that grease to get a high mileage out of the clutch/tob.
So this would be my order of operations. If the trans seems to shift fine except for 5th/reverse I would order the ~$35 fork and pop it open and slap the new fork inside it (2-3 hours job max), then clean the TOB sleeve like new, put a new ~$40 TOB in it, slather it with MDS grease, put in a new clutch if you can while you are in there, if the car is a daily use a full face, sprung disc.
my sig link has all of the pictures of the job, the fork, the grease, tob sleeve, anything you can imagine.

Thank you that was really helpful. I ended up draining the oil and there was an ungodly amount of metal in the oil. In the process of sourcing a new transmission but at least I won't worry if 4th makes noise in the new one as its "normal" apparently
