You bought them on here and are trying to flip them for nearly double (minus tires). GLWS man.

thats 100% correct. the person who buys these from me should be thankful i bought them and kept them to be available to the community at a later date with zero use, collectors like me keep the scene alive. RA-1's arent cheap and neither is the ability to fork up 1800 bucks and collect the wheels for a two years in this late age without driving or damaging them. these things have appreciated in value (including inflation), or they have found their final owner by this point in time. theyre the apex of time period correct turbo-style wheels. having the foresight to invest into something valuable leads to profit. thats capitalism for you. 101.
i wouldnt let them go for any less than a set of RPF-1's + my sunk cost in rims alone. i still have to go out and buy tires afterwards and it has to be worth my time/effort/money/and suffering for losing the best set of rims created. seriously. i lurked zilvia and other forums for years waiting for the collapse of the wheel era to pounce on a nice set of turbo style wheels before they were as hot as they are today. and honestly the only other set of 17x9 +23 impul silhouettes ive been tracking world wide are now off the market and this is my time to sell. theyre also the type of wheels that can make you win events, contests, magazine shoots, and even sponsorship. i think i end up looking at them more than the FC ive been building for more than a decade.
the only reason im selling is because these rims deserve a good home and i have a track FC RX7 thats too race oriented for such nice wheels. i need something more functional and want them to be enjoyed as i enjoy them. i go out to the garage, have some beer, and just look at my car with these wheels. for real theres nothing like them.
i need my rx7 to go from a garage queen to a track dog. and these wheels deserve to be on a queen that goes to car shows. thank you for supporting my efforts in building a rx7 FC thats a very difficult and rare car to build. and good luck hunting down all those ae86 guys who want 5k+ for a car that was originally 13k with 200k miles and telling them 'its only a corolla'. seems like a fun pass-time.
these wheels would make any silvia, evo, or rx7. and im looking for a premium niche collector as a buyer. if you cant afford them i suggest some advan SA3r's for looks or RPF-1's/volk for performance. buyers who want turbo wheels are fanatics. and in this size/offset there is nothing that competes. i havnt seen a set of BBS turbo style wheels with the front fan cover in a decade.
my cost = 10 years of looking + 450 a wheel + 2 year holding + 1200 tires + 100 in gas to pick them up + 100 to mount the tires=800 per wheel in raw dollars before looking/holding/time.
my asking price= 850/wheel+tire.
as if 23 year old 17x9+23 turbo forged cnc wheels from JGTC japan are gonna be cheap! you couldnt smelt down 10 cast RPF-1s and make these, even if you wanted to. the center caps and center dishes go for 180/250 respectively! i should just keep 'em.

With a quick search you can see a set of the bmw wheels that you haven't seen in sooo long for sale and 9/10's and he wants 2600 shipped.

thank you for the compliment. the only car they might look better on is a FD or rx8, imho. for anything less than about 3200 i wouldnt want to let go of the wheel/tire combo. i left a little room for negotiation.
for 2600 you get wheels that are the wrong bolt pattern for JDM cars, a really ugly contour to the flat face, painted white faces, bmw specific center nuts, ugly spokes, a ugly lip with stepping. no engraving, exposed hardware, no JGTC. no info on width, offset. and NO TIRES****. if theyre not factory i would question the build quality and barrels, as impul has high quality. they also have to be shipped from europe- good luck with that!
these are 4 or 5 lug compatible. you wont be able to compare them to anything besides 17x9+23 impuls, theyre that legendary.

I would keep them I'm sure someone with a nismo R32 will buy them for that asking price.... looking to make a replica Gr. A machine....I would look for anodized red and anodized blue for the center lug nuts most of the single lug race cars used blue on one side and red on the other to not confuse which side the correct tire goes... real OG shit bump GL
