well.......one of two things will happen immediately after i graduate next spring

1) i will buy a Z32TT (had a NA) so i can start tinkering around with turbo's, something i've missed ever since i sold my eclipse almost 4 year ago now

2) some of you know that sometime in the near future i will be building a SpecMiata race car. i really need to start some real club racing. high speed autox on the track is fun and all, but i need to take it one step further.

the Z32 will cost a few thousand more just to buy, not to mention insurance, but god do i miss my old Z. &nbsp;on the other hand, i really want to start some real W2W racing. &nbsp;who knows what i'll do first, but both of these goals will be accomplished in the next 2-3 years.

I thought the rb26 only came in the r34's.

My goals are to pay my car off <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> then build it up with a turboed engine of some sort, suspension, and all the goodies.

I'd really love to get a mid 90's m3, turboed, suspension with all the goodies.

I don't really have any "plans" other than my current car though.

since its so hard to decide what engine to get, I'm gonna do 3 240s

sil80 with s13 front end powered by an s14 sr20det built to ~300hp
180sx type x replica (earlier) with a ca18det built to ~350hp
ADM 240sx hatchback with a built up ka, 200hp before turbo, 400hp after
all of them thoroughly lightened with fiberglass wide body kits

then i want:
a z31 built up to around 300hp
a z32...just basic upgrades and built a little to about 500hp...mostly a drag car i guess
an rx7 turbo II built a little bit
a bmw m3 (2001+) supercharged with a wicked ass suspension
a bmw m6 (1987) supercharged and built up as my nice car that doesnt look fast but is


cars i just want to own:
a skyline r33 GTR
i honestly want to own at least an evo III and evo VIm, maybe an evo VII too since thats the most feasible

and my goal in life is to own a lotus esprit v8
i've loved that car since i was like....5 years old

gotta love the pipe dreams...i will have an evo and a built up 240 tho....im pretty sure im keeping my car forever...not worth selling and im not gonna trash it
evo VII will probably be my first new car

Ugh - what are four raceable, RWD cars that can be built for under $10,000? &nbsp;Hopefully all this w/n 2 years (incl. getting my s14 in shape)... jeez, maybe I ought to get another job?

SpecMiata and SpecRX-7 as you have mentioned, also i think a 91 240 could be done for real close to 10 grand, i think you might be able to do an old Datsun 1600/2000 roadster for 10k depending on how much the initial car costs. a crx is right around 10 grand, as well as an old MR2 possibly. you could also go the vintage route and build a triumph, or an MG. &nbsp;keep in mind it is far cheaper to buy a race car than build one, but it's not as fun.

Yup - that's my list all right. &nbsp;Actually, every car I listed *could* be built for under $10K and run in the middle of the pack... maintenance is another thing. &nbsp;I also agree about the buying thing - I would like to buy a gutted car w/ a cage and work from there.

Well, since I'm only 16...

1) Sell current car (sohc auto) in/around summertime.
2) Learn to drive a stick &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sigh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':rolleyes:'>
3) Buy DOHC s13.
3) Turbo KA/whatnot, till i reach a nice 280-300rwhp mark.
4) Depart with the s13 after a couple of years, and..
