Okay, this question goes to anyone who has done this swap before... I'm in the process of wiring the SOHC dash plug onto the DOHC main harness and have some questions about the wires left over. I have a DOHC schematic, but don't have a SOHC one, so if anyone can look up what these wires do, i'd appreciate it.

On the DOHC harness, i've traced every wire except these two:
Green/Yellow (I believe it goes to the rear window defogger switch)
Green/Red (possibly pink) - no idea on this one

On the SOHC plug harness, I have these wires left over. If you can tell me what they are for, i'd appreciate it:
Grey/Blue
Red/Yellow
Purple (w/ silver dots)
Grey (w/ silver dots)
Light Green (w/ silver dots)

Thanks to anyone who can help me out!

Wiring that swap is super easy. I covered it in my how-to (which you can find if you search the site)
Match all wires, color for color. There will be some left over on both harnesses.
From DOHC harness, you'll have the CONSULT wires. From SOHC harness you'll have the ECCS wires.
Unless you get the full underdash harness from DOHC, you won't be able to wire the Consult plug up. Just wrap them and disregard.

yeah thats what I did.
I'm pretty sure thats not what kept it from starting. I hope.

mrmeph is right. i think there are 7 that match up and the rest just tape it together and leave it.

Awesome, thanks for the help guys. I figured that is what would happen, but just wanted to make sure before I get the engine in and find out I didn't do it right.

Andave - you're not making me too confident! Put up a post when you figure out what is wrong with your car. I hope I don't run into the same problem.
