Ok i removed all the power steering. I have jus realized that the belt has to be alot shorter. sooo anyone know what belt, or what car it comes from to ask for when i go to auto zone or one of those parts stores. I measured it and got 27" 3/8, then went to advanced and they had no clue whats so ever how to find the right belt soooo if someone knows what i am talkin about and can help i would greatly be appreciated thanx

27 3/8" would be close to 275K3, or 27.5".
How do you plan to tension the belt?

yes I work for autozone and whoever you talked to didn't know what they were doing...
we even have a thing that will measure exactly how long the belt is and translate into "belt" terms. (not that it's hard) 275K3 is pretty self explanatory...

well i researched alil more, and found out that if u remove the top bolts on crank pulley, and remove bottom bolts on fan pulley, lossen the others, u can just barely get the belt on the pulleies. Then u tighten the bolts back up and the belt will be tight. So if anyone else has a better idea, please feel free to add any info thanx

On the KA24DE, the correct belt is:
Napa V-Ribbed Belt (Its a gates belt)
part# 25 030267
13/32" x 27 3/38" or 11mm x 695mm
Works perfect.
alls i did was loosen the 2 bolts on the alternator, and it slides back n forth, take a little wd40 to it and should move, jus move till u can get the belt on then jus slide it back till it gets tight, the bottom bolt slides the alternator, the top bolt loosens it. good luck.
