Hello,
I've had my SR for over a year now and connected to the ignitor chip panel is this thingy that looks like a manual boost controller. I've never bothered to hook it up because i've had other things with the car to deal with. Its a little green tube with metal bracket and a black knob on top with a plug connecting into it, on the bottom is two tubes. What is it? and how do you install it? It really looks like a boost controller (and is a one way valve it seems)
thanks

boost control solenoid. keeps the turbo from going above 10psi. you dont need it it cant raise your boost. cut it off that plate and toss it in the trash. its only good for weight reduction

Any generic manual boost controller = $20 or so.
Cheapest worthwhile EBC is the Profec B Spec II, runs around $280 or so.

some mbc's like hallman's are very effective and work well, and throwing it in the trash would be retarded
