I recently ordered some seats and like a dumbass I didnt look at the floor of the 240, I just assumed they were flat. So now I am stuck with some seats and "universal Sliders". any ideas of mounting positions or aftermarket brackers specifically designed for the 95? I am a pretty tall guy so my goal is to get the seat as low as possible. thanks for any input. - Daniel

Wedge Engineering brackets will be your best option, depending on the seats you got. Ditch the slider and bolt the seat right onto the bracket and it should not be too bad. There are a few brands that make brackets and sliders for the 240sx. Bride and JIC being common, but expensive.

Search this one. Pages and pages and pages and then maybe a few more pages on this subject.

FYI S13 has the same shaped floor so if you find hardware for S13 that'll work for you too

I too was using wedge brackets with my recaro sliders in the s13,an the pretty much bolted right up to my newly aquired 14.I also didnt like the height of the seats,so I just bolted the seat directly to the bracket on the driver side.

Did the seat sit any lower than the stock seat?

still slightly a hair higher then stock but nowhere near the stupid height when usin the slider.
