I searched and found about 3-5 different answers to all the questions. I have an 89 240SX with a 98 S13 Blacktop. Almost all stock except for a walbro 255, 3" tanabe DP, 3" tanabe catback, testpipe, and I think that is it.
1) which oil filter to use? 91 SE-R or different??? Some say the one for the 91 SE-R are to short if you don't buy from dealer I will be buying mobil 1 or K&N.
2) which NGK plugs should I use. Again I found many different answers.
3) how much oil is needed I have found answers ranging from 3.5qt-5qt so which is it?
4) will Mobil 1 0W 40 be the best selection of oil?
5) is .044 the correct plug gap?

you can get the oil filter for a 91 se-r, I got mine from nissan this filter fits many other nissan motors.
get a set of NGK BKR7E's, i believe enjuku sells them online
oil pan capacity is 3.5 quarts but with filter and what not just use 4 quarts
I use mobil 1 synthetic 10w30 (just my preference)
spark plug gap should be 0.32

I did search that is why I asked
There were so many conflicting answers.
Are you sure on the plugs? I have seen where lots use those and there are 2-3 other NGK numbers that are used..
The plug gap I have seen both 32 and 44 so which is it? Like I said I have searched many times on many sites and got a crap load of different answers. thanks for your help.

for plugs....BKRE7E and BCPR7E both work, some have ES-11 at the end, thats cool too. if you get lucky your local autozone may have them. its also the same plug for boosted hondas so most local import shops will carry them. as far as oil, my car seems to like syntec 20w50 the best, but it really doesnt make that big of a difference unless you are in extreme climates.
