Does anyone know if a nabco or tabco cap will fit TF's bmc? Caps are available from conceptzperformance but they say they won't fit with aftermarket bmcs. I can't see TF using a different size cap, hopefully just different design. The TF cap is garbage and extremely brittle and has cracked.

Thank you.

I believe TF Z32 BMCs are nothing more than Centric units. And those are OEM rebuilds/replicas. It will work.

How is the reservoir material compared to stoq

Thanks for the replies. I figured it was centric, or rather I've heard that before, but I wasn't sure if the caps were interchangeable. I ordered a tabco cap so we shall find out soon.

The res material is 1 million times better than the cap's material. I don't have a stock z32 bmc to compare, however the res' plastic feels like it may be thinner and 'waxier' than my stock s14 bmc. The s14 res is more stout in design though so that may not be fair.

I wish someone made an aluminum one.

I wonder if that would be good or bad for heat

I'm unsure. Plenty of other platforms have them (for example subarus)

however, turbo is on the other side. BUT, on RHD vehicles, the master is on the right side. Plenty of jdm companies make caps (eifel, syms etc)

I thought you meant the whole reservoir

even an aluminum add on cap would be cool...

Update, the cap sure does NOT fit. Looks like it's jb weld for now until the guys over at tf decide to grace me with a response
