Hi guys, Well im thinking about buying this 93 240sx fastback and I was wondering what is everyone’s opinion on it. Well it’s a White 93 fastback base model. Everything is stock no radio, the rear bumper has damage and needs to be replaced and the front bumper needs to be repainted. The interior is in good condition has a rip on the carpet on the drivers side hump in the floor. The car has 157k miles. Has no rust at all and the Body is straight. The guy wants 1500 for just car and 1850 with a Apexi GT Spec catback exhaust. I am probably going to buy the car with the exhaust so ill be paying 1850. Well tell me what you guys think. Oh yea i have not yet test drove the car, but i know the guy well and i trust him saying it runs really good.
Thanks
BTW sorry for the long post...

Nice Deal other then the exhaust part. I also got a 93 for 1500, and that was a great deal, but paying $350 for a used exhaust... take the 1500.

So i should just take the car w/o the exhaust? How much does the Apexi GT Spec exhaust go for?

well take a look a round on some sites like phase2 or other tuner shops and see what it goes for. then think about if its worth it. check the exhaust out youself for dents and scratches. its a fat exhaust..it prolly gonna be deep and loud as hell on the KA. lol and u are in Cali...idk man...if the cops are bad dont get the exhaust.

if it is a real GT spec and not some wannabe muffler welded on its ok id still try to bring it down to at least 1750.. the GT spec is Apexi's best exhaust sytem... 95mm piping to 115mm barrel tip.. pretty nice sounding... but regardless used its not worth 350.. 250 at the most.. good deal though... ive heard the GTspec on a dohc KA... very lovely sound still with NA.. deep throaty and loud...

Good deal..
I bought my 1st 240, a 1990 KA24E FB with > 200k for $1100.
I bought my 2nd 240, a 1992 KA24DE FB with ~150k for $2300.
Either way it sounds like a great price on a '93

the car seems pretty cheap. id just take the 1,500 deal and spend that money on a used rear bumper and the leftovers on some paint.

this is ridiculous...
took me 7 months to find mine.. Same type of car, no rust, white fastback.
(clean paint though)..
157K miles. a '90 fastback.. and friggin paid $1600 for it. (had to do work on it after i bought it too:
-new engine temp sensor
-new tranny and diff fluid
-coolant flush
-oil leak, fixed with front crank seal and valve cover gasket
and you got yourself a '93 (DOHC!!!) that probably doesn't have the problems mine did.. for $1,500.
Just pay the man $1,500 because it's well worth the price.
