Lets start by saying I have searched for many days, wiring information on the OBD2 side of the ka24de is not as plentiful as you might think and im not interested in/nor do I have the parts to convert this engine back to obd1.

What I do have is a 98 KA24de with trans, engine harness, ECU and all related sensors inside a 90 S13. what I don't have is the original sohc engine harness or the S14 body harness.

I know this setup will start and run without too much trouble but I have been wiring for days and I cant seem to get the fuel pump relay to trigger and I'm fairly certain im missing something with the eccs relay wiring.

my best source of info has been here

because he explains every wire in the F3/M63 connection. I have used this to splice what he claims is required from the F3 plug to either the S13 dash harness or the body harness.

what Im trying to find is a minimum requirement of wires for this obd2 ecu to fire up and run.
I have switched 12v going to F3 pin 1 and all time battery power going to F3 pin 9 along with all the usual sohc to dohc dash harness connections including pin34 for the ignition switch signal. I just cant get the eccs relay to do anything so I must be missing something.
I know the S13 eccs and fuel pump relays are working as I can trigger them with my test light but im not getting much out of the S14 side of things.

any insight into OBD2 requirements would be helpful. I can explain any or all connections if anyone would like to know, just don't wanna bore everyone with a pin for pin writeup until its actually running and usefull to someone besides me.
