Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone else car pulls to the right? Yea, i know roads are made to divert rain to the sides, bet when i drive on the left side of the road, it doesnt pull to the left. i had my alignment checked, and its supposedly good. my toe-in up front was over 5 degress, but the rear right tire has lost lots of tread. damn open-diff!! :fawk2: think that could cause it? also, my front right has 38psi tire pressure, rest are 34. what pressure should i run on 215/40/16s, and 225/35/16s?

check your brakes, if your alignment is all good.

your to fill to 29psi like your glovebox says. but thats on a stock 240. i'm sure your mods have changed its weight so just start out wiht 29 and change accordingly until you feel like its riding the way you want it to.

If the tread on the right side has worn out more than the other side, your car will definitely pull to the right. I notice it a lot when I get back from a race track and I've been drifting all day.
mine pulls to the right. it has a good alignment. tire tread and pressures are good.

ever since i put my susp modes the car seems to pull pretty hard to the bank in the road if im on the left or right it pulls accordingly. coilovers/tc rods/subfram collars mainly... it just goes with the game

i hit a curb a couple of months back.. so i had my chassis checked out to be straight, that passed..but the guy was also a backyard mechanic. so did the alignment. not sure if i said this, but i have 34psi in all tires, cept for the front right which has 38.. but wouldnt that make my car steer more straight? unfortunetly, my car still pulls to the right when im on the left side of the road, which has me really worried.. *sigh* considering i make a max of $200 weekly being a student and delivering pizzas, getting my chassis checked again for being straight and alignment would be a bitch. im sure hoping its just the back right tire being worn down thats causing it.. looks like i need some new stickies. how hard would it be for me to check my chassis? i saw a spec sheet in the fsm, any tricks to it tho??

mine pulls to the right, but that's cuz I hit a curb, I just adjust the steering wheel accordingly lol, I'll get it fixed once my new wheels and tires get here.

if you think you have a particular tire causing the problem then swap your tires around so its on the other side. checking your alignment isnt easy and personally id leave it to the pros... unless of course you spent the money on hella expensive equiptment...

if its not worn tires more on the right, then it could also be your right tension rod, if it's blown... if you have coilovers, you could have a lose upper nut, or have it set a lil off... even out the tire pressure down to 32 and check it

mine pulls right if i peel out..
Probably because you have a peg leg rear.
Mine pulls right or left depending on the last bump I hit. Mine is do to upper strut bushings and some tweaked struts. Might check your strut bushings/pillow balls and see if they are up to par.

wow.... add to the list for newbes as to "what to look for when buying a 240"... my car always pulled to the right, before I had coilovers, tierods, tension rods, subframe spacers etc... been thru alignments and always pulls to the right.. I want to replace my tension rod brackets since they are sorta caved in.

Swap your front left and front right tire. It's possible that it's pulling because of radial tire pull. If it still pulls to the right, I can't help you, but if it pulls to the left, put the tires from the back in the front.

my first 240 pulled to the side and i couldnt figure out why. finally it turned out to be the steelies, on of them was bent or something. ive had nothing but problems with the steelies vibration etc. also and bent suspension arm will cause that too. even a stuck rear caliper but that is least likely imo.
