Here in Topeka Kansas there aren't very many 240 enthusiants. Only myself and about 3 other people.
Yellow Fast back getting an SR right now (user SR Fast back)
White Fast Back with LSD
and some black 95 240 that i always see around never met the guy though.
I always have people saying they want to buy and modify a 240 but most people never pull though.

It is actually pretty popular down here, I see S13's a lot and S14 very often (not quite as much). Not much people modify their 240's but there are quite a few. Chris (speedalliance) and Jared (teampulse) are the only two I've met that are really into it.

I guess here I will say you have to be in the 'know' my s14 gets lots of stares just cause they are beautiful, but it is every so often at a gas station there will be a fast back that pulls up and that always results in a conversation. This is a honda/VW town, so nissan guys don't get the props they deserve.... but guys who know anything about the 240 all love it and like to come have a look when it is around

It's REALLY starting to piss me off!
I live in Ottawa, Canada. I just bought my first car, it's a nice white 92 s13. It's pretty rare here in Ottawa, Canada. So I'm driving by, I see another s13, with a big smile, I drive right by the person and roll down my window to talk to him. the SOB looks at me and drives away. I said fine, maybe hes just an asshole.
A week after, I'm driving I see another one, on a red light. I stop by it, both waiting for the red light, this time I didn't bother talking to them cause of the bad experience I had before. The son of a bitch back's off, and drive to the next lane, totally ignoring me As if he knew me and didn't wanna wait for the red light with me.
Whyyy!! Was the previous owner of my car a wanter criminal? a pedophile? Jesus! I Just wanna have a normal conversation with a s13 driver! Why do they have to be such assholes here!
Is there anyone here from Ottawa? Montreal? Toronto? And is not an asshole with his head stuck far up his ass? Give me a shout. I really need someone who has a 240sx and can help me with mine

Tulsa pretty much sucks when it comes to striking up conversation w/ a 240 owner. I've seen a few other S14's (95/96) and followed them for a block or two and get up beside them and they don't even acknowledge that I'm right next to them.

Well, in Northern California, (actually bay area) lots of 240's popping up..stupid ass Super Street... and their JDM hype..its blowing everything up..Well I was driving and some kid attempted to drift in a 240...with 3 others following him. Well, the first kid spun out, the second kid was trying to loose grip, he rear ended the first car, the third car was just driving too fast and smacked the second car. Now i saw all of this happen, and I stopped to see if they needed any help. What shocked me was that these guys looked like they just got their license, their ages all being 16. Tis a shame, about the cars, but no one got hurt, which is a good thing.
Someone tell these kids to stop. Seriously.

There are a lot of S13's in Charlotte, quite a few s14's (95-96)
It's rare that I see a 97-98. When I do it always brings a smile to my face. Those things are SO beautiful. I wnat both. My 92 and a 98'.,.. maybe one day. Of course I would daily drive the 98, and beat up the 92 on the weekends.

As a whole there are a few a lot of s13's here in Cleveland. Only a few are modded though. As for s14's, there are almost No 97-98's and just a very few 95-96's. That being said, at Turbofour we have 1 s13 w/ichigo face& SR,, My s14 w/ ichigo& SR, 1 s13 w/ sr22det, 2 more SR'ed s14's and 3 s13's.

Well in Los Angeles area - SGV area, 240's are pretty popular. Of course many of the ones we see are S13. BUT many many more S14's are appearing, especially around my neighborhood. Most of the time though, the S14's seem to be stock. But SoCal probably has one of the bigger followings than other states - cause its so damn crowded here (not mean to piss anyone off now )

im form south cali so yeah 240s are very common but mostly the s13 fastbacks then the s14 zenkis but the coupes and the 97+ koukis are still rare. in my hood there are 3 240sx's and they all have SRs in them. some white guy named JOSH wiht a 95 zenki converted kouki wiht s13 SR ... mostly show. my lil bro wiht 91 180sx w/ s14 SR and me 240sx coupe w/ s14 SR. thats it.
but when you get to the race day or even touges down here... watch out now. theres all kinds of 240sxs but it all pretty much goes as follows. holla

Los Angeles here Los Feliz Village to be exact. there are a decent amount here in town proper S13's and S14's. I keep on seeing modded S13 fastbacks running up my street because its a throughfare.

MI sucks as much as the next place....
Just me in the area with an S14MC, no other girls in 240s period. There's a red s14 in the parking lot at work, all stock. My friend has 2 90 S13s, but they are both POS's and I think he's gonna scrap them.
I know of 2 other people on this list, GMGS14 and OLY180(??) that are here but far away from me, and maybe one person from 240.org.

Some people around here drink 3 40's...There are no hooked up 240's around me. I do not know about indianapolis, I go to school there, i saw one with 17" rims, but it was not so fixed up (ps13). Mostly there are chevy and ford trucks here, mustangs, camaros, firebirds, grand am's, and the occasional honda with the white body kit. I have the only fixed up ae86 I have seen around, my friend just painted his, but his is all stock, and my rps13 is pretty stock for now. Watch out this spring! I think I know who these people are. One of the guys is a scary white pasty looking twig boy. He tried to kill me after finding out I accidently ate his lunch(seriously.) One of the other drivers was a girl who I had in bed last night. I was not impressed.
They all set up an Initial D marathon every Friday night and watch all 2 seasons + the movie. How sad.

There aren't too many s14's in the St. Louis area--I still get lots of comments like at the grocery store saying "nice car, what is it?". I have seen one female driver in an s14 like mine, and when I drove up beside her to wave it was a old japanese woman who looked at me like I was a stalker.
Most people around here are rude anyway. Even fellow enthusiasts smirk when they see a girl in a 240. One guy (in a pos ford truck no less) even yelled out his window at a stoplight that my muffler was crooked and I should ask Meineke for my money back! I was going to explain to him why, but I figured it would be a waste of time. Some people really suck.

Hey, Redline Racer, make that two from Clemson. Yeah, there are a ton of S13s around here, including my gray 93 SE HB. Mostly HBs, a few coupes, and a decent smattering of S14s.
Are you in the Clemson Sports Car Club? Aside from myself, CSCC members have a burgundy S13 coupe, a white S14, and a CA18DET S13 coupe (don't know the color, haven't seen it since the guy bought it). CA18 discounted, we're all mostly stock, except for basic suspension and a bolt-on here and there.

12-12-2002, 03:30 PM
They weren't so common in Carson City, aside from mine and my sister's (when she's in town), I occaisionally see mebbe three or four s13s ('91+, cept one), one s14 (95-96, who incidentally got pulled over and ticketed for slightly exceeding the speed limit at the exact same time as I did, I don't know the guy), and have only twice seen an s14 ('97-98).
Reno is another story. Still have seen only one or two s14s (no '97+), but there are s13s all over the place. I see three to four every day when I go to school, three '90-, two in good enough shape for their age, one is somewhat worked on. Seems to have an HKS sport exhaust and needlessly large rims (18" it looks like), but no suspension and seemingly no engine work. That one parks in the same lot as I do, often right next to me, though I haven't had a chance to speak with it's driver yet. There's a poor decrepid '91+ on one of the sidestreets, headlights always up, paint faded from what seems to have been maroon to bile. See others driving around town.

i'm from Cheyenne Wyoming....there are no hooked up 240's in Cheyenne(besides mine). the 240 scene in this area is dead. they all think my car is an older Integra becuz of the silvia conversion, it's pretty sad. From what i hear i'm the only one with an SR swap in the area (cheyenne, denver, ft collins). , i know of 2 people just doing the KA-T. hopefully more will see the light.

Here in Modesto, Ca there's 2 97+ S14s including mine. I have a red one and I see a black one also. There's wanna-be S14a Integras I see around here too. S13s I see plenty of, and don't even bother looking at them unless their modded out. Usually it's a person that doesn't care about their car driving it.

240's are becoming quite popular here in Wilmington NC, quite a few s14's with decent mods in the area, even a few girls with s14s.

I live in New Brunswick CANADA, and there are about 3 240's here and they all are not modded. They are all 89-93 hatchbacks and they are rusting out. I have the only good one. A '95 240sx SE!
Everyone's either got a 94 Integra RS with a tip on it, or a really old crappy civic with tips and stickers. Sad really sad. They drive up and down main street all lunch hour and it's funny to watch. Stupid morons.

Well... in Fort Erie, ONtario.... theres only S13's that ive ever seen..
my '90 Black SE FB (i think the only one in town that someone is doing stuff with)
a white '90 FB with the lights stuck open
a nice blue '92 SE FB that belongs to a middle aged couple
and another '90 Black FB thats got a rice pipe exhaust on it... i think the guy got it that way from the previous owner tho....
One thing i have noticed in my specific area... with the ricer crowd... there all wanting to trade in there cars for 240's and SR20DET's.... i dunno... it kinda makes me sick that when i told them years ago that i wanted a 240sx they laughed and now they would die to have one... or how they are no self proclamed experts on the subject.... heh....

im in the kc, mo. area and i dont see alot of any model of 240. i have an s13 coupe i see more s13 hatches than anything else. coupes and s14s seem to be pretty rare in the midwest. i know because after i sold my 89 hatch it took me a year to find a decent s13 coupe. now my friend wants one and he is having trouble finding a good s13 coupe also!also, for you guys in tulsa and kansas i would be in on a "local" meet!!

Let's see.... around here, there's my turbo KA, a guy Carl's s14 with a KA being turbo'ed at a shop through winter, a guy Rob with an S13 with a blacktop SR i think, another Rob that had a Sil-Eighty conversion last I saw his car (heard he was gonna turbo somehow...), his girlfriend has a '97, and my friend Micah has an S13 fastback. In CT in general there's boostedS14 with his car which all of you have seen.... a kid with an S13 fastback which I think is SR'ed that went to UConn, and another kid with an S13 who said he was turbo'ing (someone said he was turbo'ed now) that used to hang out at the Berlin Tpke. So... we got a bit of variety spread over the state. Too bad we don't all collaborate into one group...

Just my S14 really. Have seen like 3 other s14s ever, and all were stock. And some stock S13s, none modified.
So its just me so far! :D Kinda sucks cuz I have no 240 peeps to hang out with but its better than seein riced out ones every 2 blocks like i do with civics.

too many in the south bay (LA area) because every joe and his mom have bought a s13. Clean s13 and s14 are far and few between and always will be...since the yo boy/ rice crowd can only make their s13/s14 super showy since they have no interest in performance anyhows...
One thing i noticed is the derth of stock looking lowered to the weeds s13/s14 with super loud turbo exhaust (on na ka) attracting the attention of law enforcement. I call it the nightkids effect...

Seriously.
I've counted 4 modded S14s in the South Bay (San Jose), and a handful os modded S13s. I've only met a couple S13 owner, nice guys. The rest of the time, most of the 240s people that I see are a bunch of assholes (I'm not saying everyone), fuckers always be mean mugging. Oh yeah, I see a whole bunch of stock S14 driven by women too.

Ive seen maybe about 10 s13's here the whole time ive lived here and its just a daily driver for some person to and from work. Only a few that are modded. S14's have only seen 1.

In Milpitas (Bay area of California), S13s I see at least 1 a day (usually) and S14s every now and then. There are 2 S14s at my school...a 95 with kouki front end, and a 97 or 98 auto. I was the 3rd S14 until I sold it :wtc: . There's a teacher that drives a pignose coupe...but I doubt he/she knows what they're driving.
The popularity of 240s in the bay area is crazy. It's so hard to find another 240...BLAH. I've been looking for 5 months now. Every time I find a deal that is worth it, some bastard picks it up before me. That's right. If any bay area people who bought a 240 recently, CURSE you, :mrmeph:...just kidding... :hahano:
