This is probably one of the biggest noob questions and the reason i can't find it is because its such a dumb question but I made an account just for this post because i couldn't find the answer anywhere. I recently bought an s13 hatch with no engine but i believe the harness routed currently is the ka harness. It has the fuse boxes (in pieces) but still wired up. One end goes to the driver side, then around the front of the engine bay, then into the passenger side fire wall. I also have an oem sr engine harness. I know you can't run both obviously so my question is how are the fuse boxes and accessory's plugs (like headlights and windshield wipers) used with the sr harness?

Do a little more research. The 'ka' harness you dpeak of is not an engine harness, its a chassis harness

But it connects to the ka ecu? And has plugs for the guage cluster.

I did and all that comes up is how to connect chase bays and wiring specialties harnesses.

You wire the engine harness to fit and plug into the chassis harness.

Next time search smarter

The chassis harness and engine harness are two separate things.

I've read that a few times already but it doesn't show where the chassis harness plugs are located that connect to the sr engine harness. I know it doesn't plug right in but i can't find the plug to cut and re wire.

Because that's not the case. The SR engine harness plug into the fuse box on the passenger side of the engine bay. The chassis harness doesn't plug into the engine harness per say.

"Two Battery Connectors" on this picture is what you're looking for I believe.

Now I understand, thank you. Currently the fuse box is not all together and has wires everywhere but i get the jist of it now.
