1989 Nissan 180sx Type II
About 62k KM (38,500 MILES)
Clean Title, NO Accidents
HICAS (Eliminated), Heads up Display (SUPER RARE FACTORY OPTION, usually found on the Silvia only) Digital Speedometer, Power Windows, Auto Climate Control (A/C works beautifully), Power Folding Mirrors
I have owned this car for approximately 2 years now. About a year ago, I did all the modifications listed below. It is not my daily driver. Although, there are weeks when I drive it more than other weeks and is absolutely capable of being a daily driver. I would not hesitate to drive it cross country. I bought the car with 29k miles. It has never been tracked, drifted or auto crossed. It is a fun, reliable, and quick street car. There is no rust, the interior is clean, and the dash is crack free.

NEW BATTERY bought in March 2016
(Jdm cars have small battery terminal, so if you end up buying this car or any JDM car for that matter, you need a Toyota Prius battery because they have the right size terminal)
I recently switched out the driver side window amp. I accidentally broke the trim surrounding the window switches. I have the piece but it won't hold the window switch. Probably a $20 dollar piece you can pick up extremely easily)
2 NEW ACCESSORIES BELTS (A/C and Power Steering)
I have owned 7 S Chassis cars in the past 13 years. Out of all those cars, this one is by far the best. It gets a lot of attention, from car people and non car people. This car is always given praise and thumbs up for how clean it is. A term that is thrown around a lot in the car world. But this car is super clean. The body is straight, the original paint and body panels are in great condition.
As you enter the interior, you are greeted by the rare and 90s awesomeness of the rare Recaro SRD Confetti seats. The seats are an 8/10 in condition. I am 5'-7" 170lbs 34-36" waist. The panels are in great shape. The motor quickly turns over. The car idles beautifully and the exhaust gives off the most perfect decibel level. Quiet enough to not piss off neighbors or draw attention from the law but enough to make you grin. It really wakes up when you get on it.
The clutch grabs great and does not slip whatsoever. You can really feel how low mileage this car is from the second you start driving it. The chassis is nice and tight. The car gives you the feedback that 90's Japanese sports car are so well known for. I modified this car to be subtle, yet effective. I purposely stayed with a low key setup avoiding a fmic and getting rid of AC. The JDM pig nose front bumper has a duct on the right feeding air to the SMIC. With the ARC SMIC you can run a respectable power level that is well suited to this car IMO.
The car is very close to being perfect but obviously like any 27 year old Japanese sports car it's not going to be 100% perfect. There is a dent on the passenger front fender, PDR will take care of this.
There is another dent on the same side that is underneath the door. Honestly, it's really hard to notice unless you get on your hands and knees. The car came with window visors. They're cool and kind of rare but weren't my thing. As I was taking them off, I cracked one and some of the remnants of the double sided tape are still there. Some goo gone and a little bit elbow grease should take care of it.
The dash in excellent shape but I think the original owner wanted to add a gps system or toll pass system that's used in japan (similar to ez pass) and mounted it on the dash with some sort of adhesive. It left some of this adeisve behind on the dash. This my assumption. From the looks, it seems it can be removed with a goo gone or a similar product but I have not tried this.
The brakes could use an upgrade as I feel for the power level there should be more bite. A set of Z32 brakes will satisfy your brake requirements. Or slotted rotors with more aggressive pads could be enough if you're not planning on driving super hard.
For some reason the water temp gauge is not working. I am working on fixing this.
At the moment I have a mixture of pics from when I first got it, when I had the Enekei and how it is now (lowered on OEM 15" tear drops)
Thank you for taking the time. I love this car. If you do too and you are serious about purchasing, I'd like to talk to you and would be more than happy to answer any questions you have. I tried to be as transparent as possible. I have nothing to hide but it's possible I may have missed something. I think I have covered it all though.
