I say we get in on this. It started out just sentra's but they've opened it up to everyone.

$65.00 both days, plus a lap on the track with our rides. It sounds kewl to me.

The NSX group is the biggest group that is going to participate. I know we can get a bigger group than the NSX group.

The Sentra guys already have 12 people registered and going, we need a total of 20 cars to get in the VIP section. Plus me in my S13 and my Wife in her B15. So that's a total of 14 cars so far. We're trying to get a good Nissan Crowd in the VIP section.

Right now the group with the most memebers going to the VIP section is the NSX group.

I know the Nissan Guys can top the NSX group, but we have to atleast make an appearance.

What You Get:

Priority registration for Auto Cross, Dyno Challenge and Audio Challenge,
Special VIP parking right by the Speedway entrance.
One 20x20 covered tent for each registered car club. It can be used to hang out, barbecue, dance or anything else you can think of.
Participation in the Fan Lap around California Speedway. Pre-registered car club members will get to do a lap around the Auto Competition Course, the same configuration used for the JGTC race. Speeds are limited so this is more an hour-long party on wheels.
What you need to do:

For $65 you get to see GT Live for the whole weekend, get VIP parking with an exclusive tent and you get to participate in the Fan Lap. Heck, we’ll even throw in a free t-shirt!
-You must register as a club and need at least 20 cars in your group at the time of registration. Additional members may be added once the initial 20 have registered at any time until the deadline.
- All clubs must be registered and paid in full by 10/31/04.

yes there are two auto-x events. A manufacturer auto-x where u get to drive certain manuf's cars, and another one where u can get to drive ur own cars. visit the jgtc site (http://www.jgtcusa.net/home.html) for more info on the events and event schedules.

It started out just supposed to be SE-R's and SpecVs but I couldn't spark enough interest. So right now it's open to just about everybody. If we could keep as many Nissans as possible that would be cool though.

Yeah, anyone who wants to signup for the VIP group it's kewl. We are trying to keep it more on the Nissan Side but as far as I can tell everyone is perfectly kewl with anyone who wants to sign up.

Apparently the more people we get the better. People are telling me that the NSX group has over 60 cars already.

So come on people lets atleast get the 20 cars in there but we aren't limited to only 20 we can have as many as we want. We just can't go under 20 cars.

Signed up I have 15 cars.

I've collected payments from 7 of them so far and I have 6 more payments guaranteed coming to me(inlcuding knghtryde), 5 of which aren't even on that list. If we can't get the 20 ppl within the next couple weeks, I will buy you regular passes (with the money you send) if you want and mail them to you. We can take care of the difference in person at the event or through paypal. I can assure you they won't be sold out for some time.

I live in AZ so accepting payments in person is kinda limited to ppl in AZ. Unless u want to drive six hours.... :) U can however send a money order or cashiers check to me. But you'll end up paying about the same amount for that as you would with paypal.

If hotel accomodations are needed, I spoke to a guy at Amerisuites Ontario Mills about 8 miles from the Speedway. He said that they have plenty of rooms for that weekend. I found a great deal through Expedia.com About $65 a night!! So hurry up and make your reservations if you can. I dunno how long expedia will have this rate...

haha. I found a great deal on expedia (http://www.expedia.com). It was about $65 a night at Amerisuites Ontario Mills. That's only 8 miles from the track. I've already made my reservations. And I was hoping to get most of us to stay there as well so that we could party after hours and not have to worry about driving anywhere afterwards ;) :coold: :w00t:

BREAKING NEWS!!
D1 Grand Prix will now be joining up with JGTC!!! D1GP was previously planned for the same night (sun) and now they are together in one facility!!! This has got to be the mother of all fawking racing/import events!!! This is defiinitely something you don't want to miss. As far as I know everyone that has paid up until now, will be covered for both the events.

The weekend before Christmas you'll see your favorite JGTC cars battle it out under the lights on Saturday evening in the first US appearance of JGTC and the first ever JGTC night race. Then on Sunday afternoon, watch the best of Japan's professional D1GP drifters tear it up against the best of the rising U.S. drifting stars in the D1 GRAND PRIX US vs. JAPAN drifting exhibition. You'd have to be crazy to miss this!

So get all of your crazy friends to get their asses in gear and go to this show!!!

yes you can still sign up. go to the link I posted on the last page. and BE SURE to select "TeamV-locity" when you're placing your order.

as far as bunking up goes... yeah hotels will normally charge more... but what they don't know won't hurt them ;) but I think it's like $10 per extra person...

also...a friend of mine has a motorcycle he was going to ride to the event. if he were to pay the 65, could he be included in the lap as well?

3rd...what exactly do the VIP passes include? does that give access to the pits and stuff?

all passes are general admission. and all passes have access to the pits, I believe

the VIP passes gives you VIP parking, inclusion in the fan lap, the club gets a 20' x 20' tent to kick it and party under at the event, and you get a free tshirt :w00t:

the $65 dollars is a general admission pass and your VIP parking /fan lap ticket.
any passengers in the car only pay the normal general admission price.

yes your friend with the bike can participate in the fan lap. but keep in mind it will be at slow speeds.

Since the JGTC teams will be extremely busy with qualifying and race preparations on Saturday, there will be little opportunity to see the cars up close or photograph them. So on Sunday the cars will be on display in the garage area. You will also have the opportunity to talk to the drivers directly and get their autograph, or have your picture taken with the race queens from Japan.

I just talked to Stephen with JGTC and he said that ALL TICKETS WILL BE SENT TO ME on Dec 1st. With the exception of passenger tickets. I believe those are mailed directly to you. But all club particpant tickets will be sent to me.
Therefore, if you want your tickets (which I'm sure you do LOL), you will need to meet me Friday the 17th or early on Sat (gates open at 9, I'd like to be there then). I will be staying at the "Amerisuites Ontario Mills". I already made my reservations. I should be arriving there early evening (~5-6pm) on Friday the 17th.

I also encourage you guys to look into staying there as well. It would be pretty cool if we could all get together and party afterwards :w00t: It's a decently priced hotel (~$70 on Expedia.com). Room up with a couple ppl and you can get in there for cheap! Plus, it's only 8 miles(10 mins) from the track.

I can not stress this enough: BE SURE TO CONTACT ME WITH A VALID EMAIL ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED!!!!! This is how I will be keeping in contact. When it gets closer I will be emailing you all my cell phone number or other contact info so that you can get a hold of me to meet me.

This map is just crap in the surrounding area.
there are better things in other cities which are 20-40mins from JGTC.
Orange county (autobacs) is 40mins away. Motorex, Signal auto, RB motoring, SP Engineering, etc. are about 20-30mins away.
LA is about 40mins west.

Don't go anywhere East. It's just gets more and more ghetto.

car rentals are at Ontario airport.
