Blessings. So I am currently trying to figure out if the states combination will work and how well it will work. My SR is currently being torn down for upgrades and a z33 trans swap over the winter. I should be around 450-500hp+ once I am done. I have been searching for a few days what clutch to use that is capable of handling about 450-500lbs torque (making it future proof). I have my eyes on the ACT xt 6 puck sprung clutch or a OS giken twin (sprung) clutch which is double/triple the price of the ACT.

I have been having a very hard time finding much information of how well the twin giken works in this application and I would truly have to waste a ton of money to find out it does not or not very well.

So far the issues I've read is the need for a different release bearing. Another member said in a thread posted last year that his twin plate OS needed rebuilding soon after installing with the z33 trans (costs just a much as the damn clutch)

Parts I am using:
- Power plant: S13 sr20det in s14
- Autotech sr to vq adapter plate
- CBF rear mount shifter relocation
- xcessive sr to vq trans xmember
- cd009 out 05' 350z roadster
- either ACT xt 6 puck or OS giken twin

I mainly need some input from people running the z33 and OS giken setup to chime in on issues that they ran into or if this combo works well and is recommended.

The main purpose of my car build is to run some auto X events and the occasional night/day out enjoying the shitty streets of NJ

All input is welcomed! Thank you!
