my passenger side mirror(part not assembly) fell off when driving. This is the second time this has happened. Does anyone have a recommendation on replacement mirrors or brand to replace the whole assembly?

Make sure is snapped in at the top then snap in the bottom

Thanks for replying. I made sure that it was snapped in. It was the actual mirror component that fell off, the back part is still snapped in.

what would you recommend in replacing the mirror glass? a good brand? kind of interested in blue graphite to prevent glare from annoying drivers with their high beams constantly on.

I sell the OEM blue tinted mirrors. $15 shipped.
Thè reason why the mirror popped out is because of the rotation cables being it. The cables are pushing it out. The heat from the sun doesn't help any because it's loosening up the molecules in the adhesive. Cut the cables as short as possibly and you should be good to go.
I lost 4 passenger mirrors because of this issue. Once I cut the cables, I no longer have had the problem.

I did notice the cables this morning and was wondering the purpose of them. I'll definitely cut them. Thanks for the input!!!

Don't cut them past the crimp. Just cut the excess off as close to the crimp as you can get.
