I have been rebuilding a 93 240sx and have finally hit a point where I need to ask for help even though I was hoping I wouldn't have to! This is my first Nissan. I got the car a bare shell, no front end, no doors, no dash, no seats, rolling with a chassis harness. I've been rebuilding it and have replaced almost every part of the car. It has an SR20, and now I've run into the problems. I have no idea how the engine harness goes back in. I don't know what many of the connectors are for. Many are obvious like the alternator, injectors, etc. I've pulled part of the engine harness thru the firewall on the passenger side that plugs into the ecu. Where does the rest plug in? Where does it connect to chassis? I also don't know which connectors are used for the dash, and I don't know what all the connectors are that are hanging below the steering column. I don't know where the stuff connects that piled in the picture where the battery used to be, aside from the one on the trans. If someone could shed some light, I'd be stoked.
This is a gutted car. Only accessories will be headlights/tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, etc. Don't care about radio/climate/other shit. I've spent a while searching and feel I'm getting nowhere.
Thanks in advance!

dude its easy start trying to plug stuff it, if it plugs into another plug it works, a lot of the steering coulum stuff plugs into the dash switches or igniton, headlights and wiper switches, everything by the battery will only plug into their respective plugs and the dash plug goes up beside the glove box to a plug hanging down

The problem is that the last owner was pretty reckless with how he removed everything and now a lot of the clips are in the wrong place. He even pulled the chassis harness from the trunk and had it piled up on the dash. I'll see if I can make some more progress.
Mostly confused on how the dash etc plug in. Most of these connectors don't have a corresponding plug haha

then you have a wrong harness of some kind, everything on the dash should plug in s13 single cam and dual cam harnesses are the same and should all plug in with zero issues

the plug in your cluster surround is missing the sub harness that plugs into the back of your cluster

the blue and white plug hanging down under your column go through the hole in the dash and plug it to your headlight retractor switch and cruise control, the little black flat plug hidden behind those 2 goes through the same hole and plugs into your dimmer switch most of the stuff on the right side of the column plugs into the column some of it is useless some of it isnt

Dope man thank you! That helps out a ton. I'll have to source a sub harness.
Do you by chance know what that sensor is in the very last picture? Attached to the white wire with 3 mounting holes it looks like

I thought it was a power distribution block that white wire is a power wire either direct from the battery to the fuse box or one of the multiple white power wires that runs to a major fuse or relay

That'd make more sense than a damn sensor haha. You're awesome! Do you know where it installs by chance?

Not without tracing it back under the fuse box, it should splice into like 4 other bigger white wires that all run to things like the alt fuse, engine management relay, and a few other things in the fuse box, if I had to guess I would say that's the one that hooks directly to the battery positive but im not 100% on that
