My gauge cluster had been acting up. Before my speedometor would work, but my tachometer wouldn't work. Now it's the other way around. I am going to pull it out and check the wiring and if that's good then try a new speed sensor. Is there anything else I should check too? I also believe my gas gauge isn't working properly.

Take it apart and inspect the wiring closely with a light, some areas may be cracked broken or loose on the wiring part of the back side

That's what I was gonna start out with. The previous owner had the cluster out to do an aftermarket water temp gauge. Hoping it is something quick to fix behind the cluster. Just was wondering if there is anything else I should check after the wiring.

If the gauges were ever pulled before sometimes the three connectors on back are not on tight.
