After 2 years of this notchtop sr20 swap sitting in the woods, I finally decided it was time to drag it again. While I was away some parts were stolen including the ecu.
The last time I had it running it had issues. It ran fine until we hooked up the vacuum lines. When the clutch was engaged pulling off in first it would jerk terribly. but if you could get the car up to speed it would run like a charm through the remaining gears. My instructor and I began to think it was bad motor mounts or a problem with the clutch/flywheel. At the time I had a s14 chassis lined up and decided to hold off on the mounts and tranny until the chassis was ready. Now I am just ready to get this car burning rubber again

probably the maf sensor plumbing, it needs an air tight tube, with bends and convolutions and an air filter as far as you can put it from the maf, and the maf should be as far from the turbo as possible. The jerking is likely due to the maf having air flow back and forth past the hot-wire, as the compressor whips the air up into a frenzy in that region. The stock engine has a bypass that hangs open around idle to keep the compressor from stalling at low speeds, and the OEM maf plumbing facilitates a gentle clean entry from the air filter, and everybody takes those two things off their engines, its like the first thing they do.
